I love your concept in the poster. The way you put the goals of what people are “shooting” for in the basketball not only is inspirational but really adds to the effect of the poster on the viewer. Also, I love the typeface you used, I’m not sure if it is an actual one or if you made it yourself or with the paintbrush tool, but it is so playful and attracts the viewer.
I agree about the typeface—it is very unique and the handwritten effect definitely adds to the poster’s appeal. My favorite part is probably the color you used: the green is very visually pleasing and looks great with the black and white. I also liked that you can see the texture on the ball which gives it dimension and the words you wrote on the ball connect the viewer with the tagline very effectively.
The green color is striking and really grabs my attention and the use of white complements the green. It was clever and heart-warming the way you put all of the goals of what people are shooting for in the basketball. The basketball comes across as authentic because of the hand drawn goals and faded rubber grips. Your typefaces are also fun and fit well with the event. Great poster!
I really like the detail of words added to the basketball. this in addition to the headline you have selected works to perfection. I agree with kyle that the color of the poster grabs my attention. I really like this poster
My favorite aspect of this poster are the typefaces. They are readable from a distance and accessible to your audience. You stayed simple and only worked with three colors which makes for a bolder statement. Anyone who glances at this poster would know what the event is about.
This poster is really effective. I really like how you used little color, and the green, black, and white really work well together. I also agree about they typefaces. The “handwriting” style is unique and makes the event less serious in a way. I think the different words on the inside of the basketball are also really creative and a smart idea. I like how you took a simple concept and made it unique.
This poster is really great. The use of only three colors makes it simple but striking. I love how the “YOU” is in all caps, further directing your reader to feel personally involved. The typefaces are perfect and i love the detail in the basketball.
